Shiro

This is a high-end entry-level model that emphasizes not only the natural texture and color of the wood, but also its strength and feel. As the name suggests, it is finished in a single tone with a white base, allowing you to feel the organic and natural texture of the wood.

The body top is made of Engelmann spruce, which is also used as a tonewood for high-end acoustic guitars. The slightly yellowish color is a unique feature of Engelmann spruce, but we selected a white color for this guitar. The sound is more dynamic and fuller than the commonly used Sitka spruce. The body sides and back are made of maple.

The body size is based on the powerful Grand Auditorium, but the slightly thinner body is designed to be easy to hold. The rosette on the sound hole is a single ring decorated with abalone shell, giving it a simple yet luxurious and adorable look.

The neck is made of five pieces of maple and engineered ebony, which counters the inevitable warping that can occur due to the characteristics of the guitar. The nut width is 43mm, a standard size, but the neck grip is thin, so even those with small hands can use it with confidence. The fingerboard and bridge are made of maple, giving it a natural look that makes the most of the wood's natural color. The position markers are small abalone dots, just like the rosette, and their subtle presence brings the overall atmosphere together.

The nut and saddle are made of bone, just like the high-end models, to ensure that the vibration of the strings is transmitted to the body. The machine heads are open gear type, with a historical and stylish specification that is popular with connoisseurs. The gears are also plated to improve stability and to deal with deterioration over time.

The paint is a matte satin finish, giving it a pleasant texture while also being durable enough to be used for a long time. The natural finish, which allows you to feel the texture of the wood, also affects the sound, bringing out the natural, warm tone of the wood.

As a variation, the lineup also includes the "shiro.E" model, which is equipped with a dual pickup system and can be plugged into an amplifier immediately. The master volume (piezo) and condenser microphone blend volume knobs are located on the edge of the sound hole, so you can adjust them at hand while playing.
